Because of the SARS- Cov- 2 emergency situation all incoming volunteers need to do a PCR test 48 hours before arrival in Italy.

Community and social work placements

Living and working in a community means to be deeply involved in the work carried out, as well as in local culture and it offers you the great opportunity to learn something concrete and useful for your future. At the end of your experience in Italy you will become more independent and open-minded and ready to learn from the new situations. In addition you will have the chance to be deeply submerged into the real Italian lifestyle, by meeting and talking to local people. Volunteering inĀ  this way means experiencing our culture from a new and enriching point of view .

The Voluntary Program

All our projects are mostly active for the whole year and you can start your activity whenever you prefer. Individual arrivals are foreseen during week days. The duration varies according to the project needs and can be from 2 weeks up to 12 months.

Our Volunteer Programme offers:

  • Collection at the closest train station or at the airport;
  • Placement in a local project;
  • Accommodation at the project and 3 meals per day;
  • Project orientation and ongoing support from project mentor and AFSAI
  • Ongoing support from AFSAI office
  • Emergency support from AFSAI office (24/7)
  • Certificate of Participation

  • On line orientation before arrival

Volunteers profileĀ 

Our projects are open to everyone in particular we look for participants who are:

  • Over 18 years old (with no other limits);
  • Independent;
  • Flexible and motivated;
  • Curious and open-minded.

Activities

Volunteers will work 30-35 hours per week for all projects, usually 7 hours a day, per 5 days a week.
